Under the programme: Premium cards such as the Platinum and Centurion variants qualify for the 10× MR earn rate on eligible Air India bookings. Some Amex card variants receive 5× MR Points when using Air India for travel. The offer applies to bookings made directly via Air India’s official website or mobile app, and the transaction must be in Indian Rupees. There is no cap on the maximum MR Points that can be earned under this offer, making it a strong value proposition for frequent flyers. Industry observers say this move strengthens the linkage between travel-focused credit cards and airline loyalty, encouraging frequent usage of both Air India services and Amex cards for premium travel bookings.
